about

The first collection of home recordings, acoustic demos, solo tracks and musical oddities the band never really played live.

Divided into three sections: "Rarieties & Oddities" (tracks 1 - 7), "Acoustic" (track 8 - 24), and "Live at The Junction" (tracks 25 - 28).
The latter of which consists of highlights from the final of the 2004 Cambridge Battle Of The Bands (and showcases the usual raucous stupidity of early days)

Some songs would reappear next year (in a more realised form) on "Just Say Now!", and several trad blues covers recorded by Hasan Spiker, (then of Sky Quintet) also feature.

about

DAFM Cambridge, UK

DAFM's music combines hard rock, flamboyant funk and soulful blues with abstract lyricism and the occasional dash of tasteful psychedelia; a joyous mixing pot of the old and the new that never takes itself too seriously.
Outrageously colourful shirts, shambolic dance routines and groovy improvisational tangents are all standard fare during their raucous live shows. All round good-time party music!
